Teacher Appreciation Day/Week

Teacher Appreciation Week, or National Teacher Appreciation Week, is a week-long celebration of teachers and their contributions to education and society. The Tuesday that falls during Teacher Appreciation Week is designated Teacher Appreciation Day.

While the nation as a whole typically celebrates our teachers during the first full week in May, that week usually falls during SSDI’s FAST exams. When this happens, SSDI typically opts to celebrate the following week. Don’t worry; we will keep you in the loop!

If you would like to celebrate your child’s teacher with a gift but are unsure what they would like, we can help! See our list of Teacher’s Favorite Things Lists. If your child’s teacher is not listed, this simply means we did not have their form.
